We are motivated to help turn our cities from grey to green. There are 3 principles that help guide us:

green products
  • To fully understand the project needs by asking the right questions and listening carefully.
  • To take a bespoke approach to each and every project.
  • To work alongside clients, and the rest of the project team.

The benefits of plants are well documented: health and well-being boosting, pollution, dust and noise suppression, increased wildlife and habitat creation. We don't want to give with one hand, and take back with the other. If we are trying to increase health and well-being, we shouldn't be polluting the soil, air, and water with pesticides and herbicides. If we are trying to reduce pollution we should not be driving fuel guzzling vehicles to site. The Meristem team embody what we are trying to achieve - a greener world in every sense of the word.

green plants
  • To inject greenery back into our urban centres.
  • To create spaces for peaceful moments.
  • To help remind city dwellers of what lives beyond the concrete wall.
  • To help freshen up our cities air.

The Meristem team are motivated by an equal love and appreciation of the excitement of cities and the beauty of nature. We believe that by choosing to live in a city we should not have to compromise on our intrinsic need for the interaction with nature and what that means for your well-being. We don't want to spend rushed weekends retreating out to the countryside to refill our nature depleted souls with the balance that only nature can provide us. We want to have it all! We are a part of nature as much as nature is a part of us, so let's bring nature in all its beauty back into our cities!
