Turning the Urban Grey Green

A practical guide to 'greening up' our urban inner cities.

By 2030 over 60% of the world’s population will live in cities, in the UK over 90% of the population will live in urban areas. With more people moving to the cities, there is an increase in exposure to air pollution and a decreased exposure to 'greenery'.

At the event, there will be a range of speakers from a diverse background, talking about the benefits of greening spaces and what can be done to improve air quality in cities.

World Car Free Day

This year we are heavily involved in London’s biggest ever Car Free Day celebrations.

The main event will include 20 kilometres of closed roads around Tower Bridge, London Bridge and the City of London. The aim is to provide Londoners with the opportunity to see what a greener, healthier, car free city could look like and to promote walking and cycling.

We will be providing a vast amount of Parklets (benches, greenery), games, music and more.

At least 18 boroughs have also confirmed they will be participating in their own Car Free Days and Play Street events. We are involved with many of these across London. It is hoped there will be at least 200 in London on the day.

Please contact us for more information!
