STEP ONE - Green Audit

Our approach at Meristem Design is unique - we see plants for more than just their aesthetic benefits and so with our consultations we translate your requirements into a holistic plan that considers design, ecological function, and the beneficial impacts on people.

Meristem provides a host of Green Audit options suitable for a range of clients, from a quick site survey to a full Green Audit assessment. We believe spending time with each client to develop a brief is essential to a successful project outcome. We offer site assessment services to ensure the selected system is appropriate, sustainable and practical to install and maintain.

STEP TWO - Design

Meristem's USP is our Green Library. Armed with an invaluable set of ideas, contacts and products at our fingertips, our design team will work closely with the client to narrow down the best design and greening solutions.

Following a site audit, Meristem will provide bespoke plant-centric design ideas that are aesthetically stylish and tailored to your needs. All of our designs are fresh for each project and we pride ourselves on our original design and first class client engagement.

Product Design

Meristem Design are able to offer a detailed design package with a full set of construction drawings, 3D models, specifications and schedules. All of our fabrication is done in-house, so clients can rest assured that quality comes first.

Meristem are always happy to advise on any necessary planning applications or supplementary documents and are more than happy to assist in this field.

Planting Design

Our in house horticulturalists are able to design a planting scheme which not only complements the proposed design but also that works with the space to which the project is to be installed. Meristem Horticulturalists can work to any specification; whether it be drought tolerant, shady, full sunlight or to be supplemented by lighting - Meristem have got it covered.

STEP THREE - Fabrication, Project Install & Management

All of our fabrication is done in-house by a team of welders and carpenters. Once detailed product designs have been signed off our in-house fabricators work closely with the design team to transform their ideas to the finished product. 

Our project managers will then converse with you to organise the installation in the most efficient and convenient way. Once the project has begun, one of our project managers will oversee the installation team, and, as good communication is essential to execute a project, will be available to you throughout the project duration.

STEP FOUR - ON GOING MAINTENANCE & PROJECT APPRAISAL

Our installations are dynamic, living, and evolving design pieces, and as such need attention. We have a dedicated horticultural team to provide maintenance by regularly checking on pests, irrigation, and general plant health. We also provide you with any information you need to ensure that you understand the nuances of your green installation.

We offer a full range of maintenance services for all of our projects to make sure your projects look healthy throughout the seasons and years ahead. Our experienced team of highly skilled gardeners will ensure your plants get the care and attention they need to thrive.
