Queensbridge Primary School, Hackney

Queensbridge Primary School, Hackney had 2.2m high ivy green screens installed, with a total of 38m wrapping around the playground.

The ivy green screens are supported by green mesh extensions and 3m steel supports so the Ivy can grow and trail up the fencing. Herbs were planted in the base planters of the green screens, also.

The green screens were funded by Hackney Council and the Mayor of London, to help ensure the schools air quality remains below the EU legal limit for nitrogen dioxide (40 micrograms per cubic metre of air).
