Have you ever wondered how much ground our maintenance team cover each year?
In 2025, our maintenance team worked harder than ever to ensure our green spaces are healthy, functional and enjoyable for surrounding communities. Once a project is installed, that's where our maintenance team comes in to keep the planting fresh and the infrastructure practical.
The numbers:
Throughout 2025, our team covered miles and miles of ground, tending to all sites including parklets, rain gardens, living walls and green screens. To put the scale of our maintenance efforts into perspective, here’s what our team achieved last year:
- Over 400 sites maintained across the country
- Work carried out across 30 local authority areas
- 23 of which are London Boroughs
- 41 schools supported through ongoing maintenance
- Over 5,000 bulbs planted
- 2 new members joined the team
Expanding our reach and team
In 2025 we expanded our reach, working in more locations and installing more projects than previous years. This is down to our growing partnerships with local authorities and the maintenance contracts our team are taking on, proving their skill and expertise in looking after a diverse range of infrastructure. From parklets to living walls, our team cover all things green infrastructure, ensuring that plants thrive and the installations remain functional.
As our reach has grown, so has our team. In 2025, we welcomed two new maintenance operatives to keep things moving and support the functionality of our green spaces. With two extra pairs of hands, our maintenance team are able to split up, cover more ground and bring their skills to more places.

Keeping London green
A large portion of our sites are based in London, so we know exactly how to care for the city’s green spaces. We’re proud to be helping the city go green. With regular scheduled check-ups at our sites throughout the year, our team have ensured that London's parks, flood defences and street planting receive the proper maintenance they need to bloom and keep the city breathing.
Essential school maintenance
Working with schools is a key part of what we do. With SuDS planters and rain gardens lining many of our schools in the cities and the South East of England, our maintenance team work hard to ensure they continue to be spaces where children can play, explore and connect with nature.
Beyond just keeping the plants healthy, our maintenance team have provided learning opportunities for pupils. During some of their routine visits, they run interactive workshops with the pupils. For example, at the Kennington Oval School Streets project, our team did bulb planting with the children, teaching them practical planting skills and the importance of prepping their green spaces for spring.
2025 was busy and full of hard work and growth for our maintenance team. From schools to parks and living walls, they kept hundreds of green spaces thriving across the country.
