At Meristem our mission is to create beautiful landscapes that enhance the urban environment that we live in and to enrich our community spaces.
We are a passionate company with big ambitions to become a leading force in green infrastructure especially in partnership with local authorities and educational institutions.
Through thoughtful, sustainably focused design we aim to make cities more climate resilient, healthier, happier and greener places to live.
Impact on Communities
Our largest sectors are local authorities and educational institutions, enabling our projects to have wide-reaching benefits to communities and children.
We transform urban spaces into green, inviting areas, which provide cleaner air, improved biodiversity and creates a sense of wellbeing to those using or passing through the space.
We take pride in seeing the impact of our work, as these spaces not only enhance the quality of our environment but also become important gathering places that support a stronger sense of community
Sustainability
Meristem has attracted a group of people who share a passion for creating meaningful change to the environment by planting up our cities and reinvigorating community spaces.
Our projects revolve around plants and people. Our mission is to work with landowners and communities to design solutions that tackle pollution and also mitigate the effects of climate change such as more intense temperatures and increased rainfall.
Despite the positive impact of our products, we recognise that everything we do, from travelling to the office in a car, to ordering timber and steel and using energy at our premises, also has a significant impact on the environment.
We are working hard to align our operational activities with our philosophy and drive down our carbon footprint. Our vision is to set a standard we can be proud of which is why we are using tools set out by B Lab UK and ISO to help performance manage and reduce our impact.
