Project overview

In collaboration with Landscape Archtiects Macgregor Smith and funded by the Crown Estate, this project has revitalised Heddon Street, a relaxed dining enclave just off Regent Street. Through the installation of custom planters and thoughtful landscaping, we were able to add a splash of colour and enhance greenery, creating a more inviting atmosphere for visitors to the area. This collaborative project blends biophilic design with creativity to enhance the streets visual and social appeal.

Solutions

To begin the transformation of Heddon Street, a series of coordinated solutions were implemented. Colour rich planters were designed, painted and installed alongside strategic greenery that redefined the streetscape.  Biophilic design played a key role in shaping the atmosphere, creating a sensory-rich space that supports both commercial activity and visitor well-being.

Bespoke Planters

Bespoke, brightly painted planters were fabricated and prepped offsite, ensuring fast and efficient installation.

Green Booths

Planters were positioned to create semi-private pods, offering a unique and immersive outdoor dining experience.

Seasonal Planting

Plants were selected for year-round visual interest, using flowers in summer and textured grasses in colder months.
