Project overview
Ark Franklin Primary Academy encompasses over 350 meters of lush green screens featuring ivy (Hedera helix ‘Woerner’) and jasmine, alongside sensory planting, planters, benches, living walls, and more. The greening initiative has transformed the school environment, providing students with a vibrant and engaging connection to nature.
Goal
The primary goal of this project was to create a greener, healthier, and more inspiring outdoor space for students and staff. By integrating nature into the school’s urban environment, we aimed to reduce air pollution from the nearby busy roads, promote outdoor learning, and foster a sense of wellbeing, especially following the previous COVID-19 lockdowns.
Scope
For the Academy we delivered and installed; 350m of perimeter green screens, 2 living walls, hardwood planters, ivy tunnel and sensory plant beds.
