Forever Beta partnered with Meristem Design to transform their East London office into a vibrant, nature-inspired workspace using biophilic design principles. This project blends greenery and functionality, creating an environment that promotes wellbeing, creativity, and sustainability.
Goal
To incorporate natural elements into the office space, enhancing air quality, boosting employee productivity, and fostering a calming, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
Scope
Our design is made up of 4 key planting elements; hanging pots, trailing trays, vintage bottle buckers repurposed as planters and a mix of cacti and succulents.
Challenges
Integrating lush greenery into a professional environment required addressing space limitations, ensuring plant maintenance, and balancing aesthetics with practicality.
Solutions
Blending natural elements into the industrial aesthetic of the office we included:
Hanging Pots
Installed with plants like Philodendron scandens and Asplenium scolopendrium, these frame key areas with refreshing greenery.
Trailing Trays
Suspended from Forever Beta’s iconic red ropes, these add greenery while complementing the industrial design
Vintage Bottle Planters
Repurposed metal containers with tropical plants serve as both visual and acoustic barriers
Succulents in the Boardroom
Desert-inspired terracotta planters with cacti and succulents transform the meeting space
