Torriano Avenue Rain Gardens

Integrating habitat into SuDS: Torriano Avenue Rain Gardens

We collaborated with Camden Council to deliver the network of Torriano Avenue rain gardens. The scheme has introduced biodiverse planting and habitat features to improve the streetscape and support sustainable drainage and local biodiversity. As part of the project, local school children helped plant two of the rain gardens through hands-on nature workshops.

The project consisted of nine rain gardens, three bee posts and four corten steel Habi-stack features to create an engaging, biodiverse and visually-interesting space.
