With just one week to go, tickets are sold out for Meristem’s upcoming event, “How to Create a Sponge City,” taking place on 24 March at the Building Centre in London.

Hosted as part of the WATER: Resilience & Innovation exhibition, the afternoon session will bring together leading voices from across engineering, utilities, local authorities and urban design to explore how sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and nature-based solutions can help cities manage rainfall more effectively.

The event will feature speakers and contributors from organisations including:

WSP
Wessex Water
London Borough of Waltham Forest
CIRIA
Urban Movement
Civic
Thames Water
Environment Agency
Department for Education.

Together, they will share practical insights and project experience on delivering resilient, water-sensitive urban environments.

The event takes place from 1:30–5:30pm on 24 March at the Building Centre, located near Tottenham Court Road.
