Following a fantastic turnout at our very first SuDS-focused event, we’re excited to make the full set of talks available online. The event brought together leading voices from across the water, design, and public sectors to explore how we can better manage rainwater and design places that are more resilient, sustainable, and adaptable in the face of climate change.

A day of insight on SuDS, rainwater management and resilient design

The event sparked important conversations around Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), green infrastructure, and the role of design in tackling flood risk. From strategic thinking to practical delivery, each session offered valuable insight into how we can move towards a more “sponge-like” approach to our cities - capturing, storing, and reusing rainwater rather than letting it overwhelm our drainage systems.
